autumn fever; styling your elopement wedding

autumn fever

It’s that time of year again where we start to think about our upcoming elopement weddings. For inspiration, I’ve been looking at our autumn elopement pinterest board (take a look, there’s some great stuff on there). But anyone can pin a few ideas from a quick pinterest search… so here is some autumnal inspiration from our real elopement weddings!

style it right

the great thing about elopements is they can be styled to perfection. There’s so much more to play with when it’s just the two of you, and maybe a couple of guests. Orange glasses? Why not! Bark bouquet vases, and tea light holders? You betcha! Ornamental miniature pumpkins? Of course!

the venue

It’s not just the styling that important for capturing the autumnal magic… Picture green leaves turning orange, the sun low in the sky, shades of burgundy in the plants, and a carpet of leaves on the riverwalk…

floral delights

Well it’d hardly be a wedding blog post without some floral inspiration. There are so many colours you can work with for an autumn feel. Oranges, greens, golds, dark raspberry and burgundy, and even teal (the newest trend in wedding colours).

Here are a couple of our favourite autumnal bouquets from last year… Autumn couples 2017, have you thought about your flowers yet?
