A cautionary photography tale…

Samantha and Dan got married here in September this year and had a beautiful wedding.   Then a few weeks ago Sam got in touch with me to say there had been a disaster with their wedding photographs.

Here’s the plea for information from bride Sam about her photos:

“OUR WEDDING PHOTOS STOLEN IN BURGLARY IN BRISTOL- PLEASE HELP TO FIND THE HARD DRIVES!

This is a message that is really close to our hearts so please share far and wide…Dan and I got married on 7th September 2016 and had an amazing photographer called Ben Selway at our special day. He captured over 1000 photos of us both. Ben was staying at his fathers house in Bristol at the end of September and the house was burgled. He had backed up our photos on 3 different hard drives (see pictures) as well as his Macbook. All of these were stolen including a number of other things. This means we won’t ever get to see the photos of our special day which has caused a great amount of upset to both Dan and I. This is a request for anyone within the Bristol or surrounding areas to keep your eyes open on the streets, at boot sales and second hand stores for the hard drives as there is the smallest chance we could find them. If anyone has any information related to this burglary please do let us know- all we want is to have a copy of the photographs from the hard drive. The hard drives previously had our photographers email address attached to them which is [email protected] – this may have been removed.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AS FAR AND WIDE ON SOCIAL MEDIA AS YOU CAN and contact me via Facebook messenger or Ben Selway on his email with any information. A request for information has been put out on Bristol radio but if anyone has any other ideas of how this could be communicated further please let us know. Thank you in advance.

The hard drive details are as follows:

X2 SEAGATE SLIM PORTABLE DRIVES, BLACK 2TB

1X WD ELEMENTS 2TB

1X LACIE PORSCHE DESIGN 2TB”

Here are the only official photos that Sam and Dan have of their wedding, hopefully it will help to identify the hard drives if they are discovered by anyone.

2016-11-02_0002Sam and Dan just want their wedding photos, the photos are of no use to anyone else and can never be replaced so if you can help or you know anything about these hard drives, please (please) get in touch with me, Ben the photographer or Sam, the bride.

I do hope that we can recover these photos for Sam and Dan, please spread the word…
