Vintage meets intimate; elopement wedding ideas Part 2

Elopement wedding ideas

Part 2; vintage meets intimate at a gorgeous afternoon tea

Vintage? Tick! This week’s focus is entirely vintage, and thanks to Marianne and Rob, we’ve got some fab inspirational photos for you.

Before we get started, here’s something to remember… There is (unfortunately) always a time and place for compromise, but your Elopement Wedding at Ever After is definitely not one of those times or places, trust me (unless you’re the groom, in which case there will inevitably be some compromising for you…sorry!).

Who doesn’t love lace? Marianne had the vintage lace sorted with her co-ordinating shoes and dress. vintage lace elopement wedding dress

(Couldn’t resist an image of Marianne showcasing her elegant style!)

And thanks to Amanda Randell, our elopement wedding florist, Marianne’s natural bouquet emphasised the theme with the neutral colours and a mix of different foliage.

Plus, it looked great on the wedding breakfast table atop the silver-grey tablecloths and white napkins… What would your elopement wedding bouquet look like?

Now for the best part… Afternoon tea!

How to make food look even more delicious… Vintage inspired decor and crockery, naturally!

And how sweet are those teacups?!

And for a majestic finish we have Marianne and Rob’s naked cake with more of those stunning flowers (matching the bouquet, of course).

So here you have an elopement wedding which is styled as thoroughly and meticulously as a traditional large wedding, and without knowing it’s an elopement I bet you wouldn’t have guessed!

What would your style be? We’d love to hear! Pinterest is a perfect tool when it comes to wedding styling, and you can share your wedding boards with us and our suppliers so we crack down on exactly what style it is you are going for. Follow us!
