Wedding ceremony arches…

I had a question in my inbox today from one of our 2017 brides asking about our wooden arches available for use in your wedding ceremony.    As I was emailing the info over to Lisa I thought it would be a good topic for a blog post so here we are – thanks for the inspiration Lisa!

We have a couple of wooden arches, made by previous couples and kindly donated to us for use by future couples getting married here at Ever After – our couples are super generous!

The first one we have is a simple wooden arch which can be decorated with flowers and with or without fabric which we have here, the fabric was donated at the end of August by another couple (thanks Lowri and Geoff!).

Alex and Danny decorated the arch with flowers and foliage by Amanda Randell:

Johanna and Andy had a fuller half height floral arch on the same structure this year, flowers by Dartmoor Flowers:

Lowri and Geoff brought in the fabric and had an asymmetric arrangement by Odds and Buds (bottom pic below).   Vicki and Jon had a similar arrangement, this time by Dartmoor Flowers and used the same fabric (top pic below).

Hannah and Kevin brought in their rustic arch which Dartmoor Flowers decorated with both foliage and flowers.   We now have an optional connecting branch for this arch to create a more horizontal top line if required.

Some couples choose to decorate the oak arch at the centre of the barn instead of (or in addition to!) using the arch inside the wedding barn.    This was a popular choice used by Carole and Craig, Cady and Sam, Kari and Ian and also Hannah and Kevin.   Eagle eyed readers will have noticed that Hannah had the wooden arch AND the oak foliage arch.   Hannah and Kevin’s floral wedding decor will be getting a post of its own soon so do look out for that.

Our arches are free to use for our booked couples.   Choose which of them might best suit your style for the day and we’ll get it set up for you and your florist.
