“We are a couple in our fifties and both have been married before..
Eleven years together and I accepted! Right from the onset we knew we wanted a special day, which included the setting of the venue ~ which for us, didnt involve a registry office or hotel. Having lived within the area of Dartmoor, we both feel at one within the surrounding countryside. So, when we found “Ever After” right on our doorstep, positioned privately within a setting of flowers (spring for us on our day), a woodland, and a bonus of a river; its a no brainer!
Part of the package meant we could stay their for two nights in all its serenity, a pure joy.
We had in our hearts the vision we wanted to create, and with the help of Nicola, and such an amazing combined team of independant Florist (Jodie), Photographer (Clare), Caterer (Ollie), Cake Maker (Harrie) and even the Registrars, our dream came alive.
A different bridal hairdresser and make up artist to the one suggested was used, and this caused no problems at all.
The smaller details we added, made for the personal touchs to remember, “Our Small, but unique, Wedding Day”, including a Magician and a Harpist!
It was certainly a day to remember, not only for us, but also for our select family and friends. Purely a stress free environment, surrounded by organisation and love ~ what more could you want?
