We’ve just had a cancellation for one of our elopement weddings which means we’ve got a new November elopement vacancy. The date? Bonfire night so Monday 5th November 2019.
If you fancy getting married in front of a roaring fire, champagne and canapés after your ceremony followed by a 3 course wedding breakfast in front of that fire and then Bonfire night wedding sparklers for your elopement – this could be the date for you!

I just had an elopement review in today from one of our couples. Charlotte wrote:
“We recently had our wedding with Ever After and went for the elopment package. We spent three years trying to find a wedding that was right for us, we wanted it to be simple, just the two of us but still have all the elements of a wedding that make it special and that’s exactly what we got! I have spent days, if not weeks on google researching elopment venues all over the country and the world and happened to come across the Ever After website. The pretty scenery and cottage had me contacting Nicola and securing our date within an hour.
We booked our date with only a few months to go and everyone at Ever After was so helpful. We were given a guide of what we needed to plan and time scales to help us. All the details are thought of and arranging the wedding was so straight forward. The photographer, chef and florist all got in touch via email. I had complete freedom over my choices but was also given help and advice where needed. Everyone I spoke with was so nice and I really felt as though I knew everyone before I met them all. It was the simplest easiest way to plan a wedding and I had no stress at all! I was also put in touch with a local hairdresser and makeup artist for on the day which was helpful as I do not live locally.
When arriving at the venue I was so surprised at how stunning it was. The pictures online are amazing but nothing compared to real life. The cottage and surrounds are stunning, I never wanted to leave. All the personal touches such as having the fridge stocked and biscuits to eat made it very welcoming.
My favourite moment of the wedding was feeling like it was just about us. With other weddings you are trying to please all your guests whereas at Ever After everyone is working to make your day perfect and it really is all about you. There were no worries and everything ran smoothly making the day romantic and intimate. Everyone who was involved came to chat and check we were comfortable and then gave us plenty of time and space to enjoy the day.
I was worried I would regret having the wedding as just the two of us but it was just right and I wouldn’t change a thing. There is plenty of room for larger weddings, which would also be beautiful in the setting. I would advise any other couples planning their day to go with Ever After as it can be designed exactly the way you want it and the simplicity of it is brilliant. I have watched so many people plan weddings and be running around every night to meet with different people and put it all together. It has been stressful for them and here it is all in one place.
Overall our mini break and wedding were the most amazing few days and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful setting to wed. I would just like to thank Nicola, Bethany and all the other ladies for the most wonderful wedding and happy memories. I would love to visit again one day. “
