Elopement anniversary celebration – a new Baxter + Ted wedding film

If you’ve been rootling around our corner of the online world here, you’ll have come across the jaw dropping elopement of Annalise and Matt who (along with Maya) got married with us a year ago, it was September 2023.

You can see their real elopement wedding gallery here

Maya also did a report on her wedding day experience which you can read about here – spoiler alert, she had a great day.

And now we’re able to bring you their bee-oo-tiful wedding film, shot by the wedding film dream team, Baxter + Ted.    Husband and wife team Caroline & Chris have filmed a ton of our elopement weddings over the years.   If you haven’t do so already, check out their films on our elopement film page.

Caroline & Chris arrive with all their kit on the morning of the wedding, ready to start filming the preps and set up for the day.    They’ll make sure they capture the getting ready moments of both of you, whether you’re getting ready separately or together.

Annalise and Matt got ready together in the honeymoon cottage on the morning of their elopement, helping each other and sharing that special anticipatory time together.    The bouquet is in the florist’s container waiting for its moment.   The ribboned personal vows are checked over.   Final touches to make up, straightening the tie, adjusting the pocket square and giving the dress one final caress.

The ceremony space is set with the flower sprays and lantern flowers.  After the ceremony there are the details to capture, the cake, the tablesetting, walking together in the woods.

And so it begins, the ceremony.   The reason you’re here.   Walking in together to make that ultimate commitment of your life to another.

And Maya is already there waiting, ready to go and fully dressed with her flower collar.   Standing in front of a flower bedecked arch, reading those vows for real this time, the emotions are spilling over.  And that’s ok, this is meant to be emotional.    So you’ll hear Matt’s voice crack with emotion and see Annaliese wiping away happy tears – and that’s what a wedding film is about.

Because the most important thing is the two (three) of you sharing this day and starting a new chapter in your lives together.

That’s the point of this film.

Enjoy.
