Okay, now it’s time to really get the party started. By this stage, probably neither you nor your guests will be remotely paying attention to decor, but we will. In the evening it’s less about the actual decor items and all about the atmosphere. Comfy spaces, soft lighting, and a wild dance floor.
Cushions
I’m sure the dance floor will be overflowing, but there always needs to be some comfy spots to sit in, too. Whilst you and your guests enjoy your wedding breakfast, we change the terrace space over into an evening space. This is mostly done with the use of many (many) candles, but also but our super sparkly cushions.
Blankets
Seeing as we’re on the subject of cosiness, we’ve also go ample incredibly soft (and warm!) blankets for your guests to help themselves to. We do ask that guests don’t actually take the blankets home with them, though (it’s tempting, I know).
Evening Lighting
Like I said, it’s all about the atmosphere. Personally, I’m still undecided about whether I prefer Ever After in the daytime or evening. It’s so wonderfully magical when the sun goes down, lit by (almost exclusively) fairy lights & candlelight. And don’t worry, you needn’t request this. We do it anyway as part of your on-the-day co-ordination.
Even More Slate Signs
You betcha! Well, it wouldn’t be an Ever After evening reception without them now would it?
Writing this blog post series and going through all the photos is getting me so excited for our upcoming wedding season! Catch up with the first of the series here.
