Happy Christmas!
Christmas 2023. Wow the end of another year. This is my last day in the office this year, Friday 22 December. And then we’re closed for a bit. How long? A while – we open back up in March for elopement weddings and viewings.
What happens until then? Well, I’ll still be responding to all emails, new enquiries, questions from couples who have already booked and couples who are getting married with us in March. Don’t worry, that all still happens. You’ll still see me posting on social media and I’ll still be putting up new blog posts. But we’ve got no weddings in January or February and we’re not open for viewings during those 2 months.
Latest real elopements
I’ve put up most of our 2023 November weddings on the gallery already. You can see them here. The most recent ones are at the top – handy.
You’ll see the story of each elopement wedding on the gallery for that wedding. From getting ready in the morning, getting the outfits on, details like bouquet and buttonhole close ups, ceremony space set up, the ceremony itself, then popping the corks & celebrating, maybe confetti, couple pics and the details of the tablescape, the cake and all the deets. Yep every elopement is unique to each couple and the photos show their own story and their own style.
Our Clare (our elopement photographer Clare Kinchin) has also been super busy getting the official wedding pics edited from our December elopements. Yes, I mean the weddings from this month – she’s ON IT.

Viewings
Most of our couples book with us without seeing the venue. That’s usually how it goes. Some couples book their elopement with us and then come and visit after booking. Most see the venue for the first time when they arrive here the day before their wedding. Whatever works for you, works for us.
We do viewings on one Saturday a month. If you want to come and visit, email me and let me know which month you want to visit.
Don’t forget, we’re closed in January and February so there are no viewings during that time.
Our first viewing date of 2024 is Saturday 9th March. Even though we have a viewing day, you still need to book an appointment. You can’t just turn up on the off chance as the viewing days get booked up and I’ll probably be busy showing another couple round.
If 9th March 2024 is a good viewing day for you, email me and I’ll let you know what appointment times we have available and we can get you booked in.
We’re at home over Christmas and New Year with family coming and going – can’t wait!
