Macaron wedding cake
Every elopement wedding here at Ever After includes a wedding cake. And each wedding cake is personally designed for you by our patissiere Harrie from Boo To A Goose. Harrie has been making our elopement wedding cakes since we started the elopement weddings back in 2016. She’s made us a lorra cakes over those years.
Whether you want buttercream icing, royal icing, semi naked, drips, painting, gold leaf, fresh flowers, pressed flowers, a macaron wedding cake – whatever your cake desires, Harrie will bake you the wedding cake of your dreams.
One of her specialities is macarons. I can personally testify that Harrie’s wedding macarons are some of the best you’ll EVER taste. They come in all kinda colours and all kinda flavours. One of her best ever macaron wedding cakes was just a couple of months ago in November 2022. It was a whole production. But just look at it – the wow factor was on a whole other level
A pink ombre macaron tower. NGL, there is an extra charge for macarons in addition to the elopement wedding cake included in your elopement wedding package. But I think you’ll agree, this was worth going all out for. The tower was topped with a mini wedding cake in rough buttercream icing dressed with fresh flowers. All sat on a white milk glass cake stand.
Wedding cake styling
And when a couple goes the extra mile with their cake and their flowers, we want to go the extra mile for them with their cake styling. Although there’s an additional charge for the extra cake and the extra flowers – the extra styling is free, yay! So is all the extra decor we used.
We really wanted to show off this beautiful elopement cake so after the wedding ceremony, we used the ceremony arch with its ceremony flowers as the backdrop for the wedding cake and the macarons.
Green undercloth, pink voile overcloth, selection of coloured votives, the ceremony flowers – all set up to let the cake take centre stage.
For the elopement weddings, the cake table is always part of the overall wedding breakfast set up. You can see how it’s a big part of the whole look of the room, bringing major wedding feels into the space…
We make sure it all comes together seamlessly for a perfectly put together look…
We provided the fern fabric backdrop, the white milk glass cake stand, the green and pink table linen, all the pink, white, green and silver votives with candles, the carved white wooden cake knife and slice, the ceremony arch, the draping. The charge for that? Nothing extra, all our decor and our styling expertise is included in the price. And if the colours had been different for this wedding, all the decor would have been different too.
I think we need a close up of those macarons right..?
Yum. The guests were able to take the macarons away with them as gifts. I was even given some myself by our lovely couple – that’s how I know just how good they tasted. These little babies were not just about looks.
