purple and pretty; Leanne and Chris
Leanne and Chris joined us in March for their elopement wedding. We loved the style of this pair, and their purple colour-scheme was quirky and unique; exactly what an elopement wedding should be!
the dress
The infamous wedding dress section… except this one is with a twist! Leanne opted for a stunning tea-length dress in a gorgeous deep purple-grey colour. It was a brilliant colour on her, and was the base element for the overall style of the day.
Doesn’t she look lovely? I adore the ivory shrug too, an essential for an late winter/early spring wedding.
floral delights
As you can see, Amanda did a fab job with Leanne’s flowers (as always!). The colours she used worked amazingly well with Leanne’s dress, and just made that finishing touch to the overall outfit and style.
There’s something super special about a natural looking bouquet. And of course, the perfectly matching buttonhole.
We always use the bridal bouquet as the wedding breakfast centrepiece, but this wedding table looked particularly delightful. We opted for the purple napkins as the finishing touch for their overall style. Pretty cute, hey?
the food
Our elopement chef, Harrie, did a marvellous job with the food for this wedding. Their miniature two-tier wedding cake was magnificent (note the purple cake flowers matching the bridal bouquet!)…
And she even managed to insert a bit of purple(ish) colour into the canapés!
Yummy!
