Styling it right; the third and final part of our november elopement wedding recap (catchup with the rest here and here). In case you hand’t noticed (I’m positive you have!) we are all about the styling, especially for our elopement weddings. This winter season we took things to the next level with our venue styling and our fabulous couples have seemed to love the outcome!
the venue
At the beginning of November, Nicola and Steven gathered their resources and created the most immaculately styled space above the wedding barn. They didn’t buy anything for this november styled space… the stick wreath was created by Amanda Randell, and Steven made the bug hotel. Nicola salvaged the ginger beer bottle from her garden, along with the dried flowers, and the deer skull was from a deer in the woods who came to a natural end. The antlers were borrowed from Amanda, and the old tools & reindeer skins were already owned. Steven made the little tables, and everything else has come from our summer decor collection! You have probably come across some photos already, but here are a few more…
ceremony spaces
For elopement weddings, the ceremony space isn’t always a focus for our couples and sometimes less is more. Having said that, we did have some brides ask for our ceremony arch (ordinarily used for our summer weddings) and we think it looked just fab.

Now this is when we can really get creative and individual. Each couple is different, so each couple should experience something different here at Ever After. We work with the couples in the build up to their wedding asking about colours, style ideas, decor items etc to create a space that is unique to them and their individual style. Before the wedding day itself we get a good idea about what table linen, napkins, charger plates, glasses (etc etc) we are going to use, and then on the day use inspiration from the flowers and cake to make sure it all works together perfectly; styling it right! Here are the results of our November table styling…
