Your Wedding Food

As you probably know by now (having trawled through a fair few wedding websites you’re picking up the lingo) the wedding breakfast is not bacon & eggs the next morning (boo), it’s your first meal as a married couple with your guests after your drinks reception.

Great wedding food for your guests is may-jer-lee important for your special day.  Yummy canapes like mini shepherd’s pies, cornish crab cakes served on teaspoons or lil bangers with piped mustard mash are perfect for serving at your drinks reception. Or maybe Devon cream tea canapes with strawberries & clotted cream in shot glasses, tiny scones & mini sandwiches.

Whether you want fine dining with seasonal food sourced from around Dartmoor & Devon or more informal sharing platters brought to the table family style, we’ll help you put together your wedding food menu and (of course) you get a free food tasting with our caterers so you can road test your final choices.

How about a Devon cream tea served canape style with mini scones and strawberries and cream in shot glasses at your drinks reception to give guests a real taste of the West country?

Or smoked Cornish duck breast with pickled walnut, beetroot and Devon blue cheese salad for your wedding breakfast followed up with set lemon verbena cream, poached oranges, candied zest and lemon-thyme tuile.  Mouth watering!

If you’re looking for a more informal feel to your food, we’ve got sharing platters including lamb shoulder, slow roasted in pomegranate served with homemade flatbreads, minted yoghurt and roasted garlic potatoes, Moroccan spiced humus and cumin roast heritage carrots.

And then there’s the evening food.   Choose from a grazing table with cheese tower, or a selection of 3 different countries for some street food or go old school and have some mini burgers or maybe cornish pasties.  Sounds great right?

We do insist you use our caterers for canapes and the wedding breakfast.   Sorry, we don’t allow other outside caterers, so we can be sure your guests get a great food experience.
