You’ve had your drinks reception and guests are ready for some food! Decor is definitely less important during the wedding breakfast. The most important thing to focus on here is the food (and drink). That being said, there is always room for a bit of decor…
Wedding Breakfast Tableware
Once you’ve got all the plates, cutlery, glasses, and maybe even serving boards (all of which we provide, by the way), there’s often very little space for much in the way of decor. The main item(s) will be your table numbers and centrepieces. We’ve seen a whole range of centrepieces at Ever After, from amazing florals to ice buckets for the champagne… Whilst we don’t provide centrepieces, we’ve got a few bits which can help bring a table to life (log slices and tea lights for example). Plus, we always put the bridal bouquets in vases (in-keeping with your theme) and dot them around accordingly.
Or why not jazz-up the wedding breakfast tables with purple glasses instead of clear? No additional decor required but it gives the marquee a little ‘pop’ of colour.
Cake Table
Whilst we’re on the subject of food, let’s discuss your cake table. Making sure this particular table looks good is a priority for us (it’s all about the photos). Depending on your type of cake & overall style, we’ll always decorate the table with some tea lights (of some description). You’re also welcome to use our -rather large- log slice to sit your cake on.
And there’s also the Kate Spade cake knife and slice! (Of course).
If you want a bit of a ‘wow’ factor in the marquee without filling it up with decor, speak to your florist about some sort of hanging arrangement. The ones I’ve seen at Ever After have been absolutely incredible, and definitely something worth considering.
