winter elopement; sarah & justin
Isn’t there something so magical about a winter wedding? There certainly was for this couple. Simplistic but stunning was the path Sarah and Justin walked along for their intimate wedding in December last year, and the photos are to die for.
The three of them joined us at Ever After on a crisp winter’s day with autumnal leaves still on the ground and the excitement of Christmas nearing. Winter elopements are just fab.
Sarah opted for a stunning deep dusky pink for her flowers, with lots of natural foliage. Aren’t they gorgeous?! Her daughter had a miniature matching bouquet (which also paired nicely with her adorable sparkly shoes)…
And not only did their bouquets match, but their shoes did too!
So so cute! And whilst we’re on the subject of shoes, it’s important to mention that the use of wellie boots for a woodland walk in winter at Ever After is definitely encouraged… (plus they make for some great photos).
This sweet little family do a fantastic job of making my heart melt… Here’s a selection of some more favourites from their day.
Absolutely gorgeous. I loved Sarah’s wedding dress as well (did you really think I’d get through a blog post without mentioning the dress? I didn’t think so…). The off-the-shoulder lace bodice had a real ‘winter’ effect, and the full slim a-line skirt was soft and complimented her overall style. Plus Sarah and her daughter pretty much matched their dresses too…
Beautiful!
