Okay, so how is it the end of October already?! Our 2018 autumn elopements are in full swing with almost 2 each week until we close for Christmas. Yes, really! Which means loads of elopement wedding pics will be gracing your timelines over the next couple of months (you can thank me later).
First up, we have Jessica & Stephen who tied the knot at the beginning of October. Their real wedding page will be up on the website soon, but in the meantime I thought I’d share a few of my faves along with a little bit about their wedding…
2018 Autumn Elopements – Number 1
Jessica & Stephen are from Texas in the USA and actually got legally married in the states before heading to England for their intimate celebration. A few close family members joined them for a trip across the pond to beautiful Dartmoor (and even more beautiful Lower Grenofen). Why England? They had always wanted to visit, and went on to do a little tour of the UK after their wedding. How cute is that?! It’s always so easy to take our gorgeous country for granted and was ‘real nice’ to hear how excited this couple were to explore it.
Because they were already legally married, they had a celebrant to conduct their ceremony in the wedding barn at Ever After. There’s more flexibility with a non-legal ceremony so the couple were able to add their own personal touches, and it was super lovely to watch.
They had purples, burgundy, and greens for their wedding colours and sat on a long table in the middle terrace (a luxury in October as the temperature is usually still warm(-ish)).
