2021 availability…

2021 availability

After making sure all our November 2020 couples are snuggly in their new dates after Saturday’s new lockdown announcement, I thought we’d take a deep breath and look at what dates we’ve got left for 2021.

As you know if you’ve had a look at the website (and if you haven’t, you need to get to that), we do 3 types of wedding.

Saturday weddings

The first is the big Saturday weddings for up to 120 guests from the beginning of May to the end of September.   I’ve got one date left for those weddings next year and that’s 15th May 2021.  At the moment it’s being held for a couple but they now can’t visit due to the lockdown so I’m not sure what will happen with that.  Plenty of couples book the venue without seeing it beforehand so they may decide to go ahead and book without seeing it.   But if they don’t book, that date will become available next week.

I’m happy to hold a date for 7 days to give you time to think about things, book the Registrar, sign the terms and conditions and pay the deposit.  Payment of the deposit confirms the booking.

I guarantee that during your 7 days, the date can’t be booked by anyone else.   Once the 7 days are up, unless the deposit has been received, the date will be released to be booked on a first come, first served basis.

If you reserve a date but don’t pay the deposit within 7 days, of course you can still book the date if it’s available, you just need to check with me first that someone else hasn’t taken it.

So that’s the Saturday weddings for 2021, possibly 1 date left.   We’ve got availability for 2022 although we’ve only got one date left in June (Saturday 25th June 2022).

If you want more info on this type of wedding, you can download the latest brochure here with pricing for 2021 and 2022.

midi mid-week

The second kind of wedding we hold in the summer is our midi mid-week weddings.  So called because they’re midi (20 guests included in the price) and they’re mid-week, Wednesdays only from the beginning of May to the end of September.

We’re only holding these weddings for 2 more years, 2021 and 2022.

Availability for 2021?  Nothing.  Sorry, no dates left at all from May to September.

We’ve got good availability for 2022 so if that’s a possibility for you, get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.

If you want more info on the MMW and what’s included, you can download the brochure straight from the website here.  You can download the main MMW brochure, the flower brochure, the food brochure, the cake brochure and the drinks brochure – yep all of that is included in the price.

We hold elopement weddings for up to 8 guests on Wednesdays in the summer from May to September.   All our summer 2021 elopement wedding dates are booked, we have no availability for a summer elopement in 2021.

We’re usually closed for January each year but we’re now opening in January 2021 to be able to host all our November 2020 couples who’ve just had their weddings cancelled by the Govt.

We do have a few dates available in February and March 2021 but we’re currently looking at putting a hold on any new February/March 2021 bookings in case the lockdown is not lifted on 2nd December and some/all of our December weddings are cancelled and need new dates.

When the first lockdown happened back in March we put an immediate block on all new 2021 bookings so we could prioritise re-booking all our booked 2020 couples.   Looking after couples who have already booked with us always takes priority over new bookings.

And we’re looking at doing the same thing with this lockdown, prioritising couples who’ve already booked with us in case we need to find new dates for December 2020 bookings.  I really hope we don’t need to do that but I want to make sure we’re as prepared as we can be for the future.  Because newsflash, they’re not making new dates so as the 2021 elopement dates get more and more booked up, we’ll struggle to find new dates if there are any more cancellations.   We haven’t got to that stage yet.  Everyone who has had to postpone has got a new date.  And I’ve still got some tricks up my sleeve but eventually I’ll be all outta tricks.

If you want to find out more about our elopement weddings and download the brochure with all the info you need, including pricing, you can do that here.

ceremony only weddings

When the first lock down happened we were getting a lot of enquiries from couples who just wanted to get married.  They wanted a place they could have a ceremony, they didn’t need a sit down meal or an overnight stay, just a ceremony.

So we came up with a brand new package for ceremony only weddings.   They’re held in the morning (11.30am) or afternoon (3.3pm) on Mondays in the summer (May to September) or Fridays in the winter (October through to April).

As this is a new package we do have availability for Fridays in December 2020 and the beginning of 2021 (January, February, March and April).  We’ve also got availability on Mondays from May to September 2021 so if this sounds like your kinda wedding, get in touch to check the exact dates.

You can download the ceremony only brochure by clicking here.

So I hope that quick round up of availability was helpful.  Any other questions about your wedding and what we can do to help – drop me an email to [email protected]
