I’m just getting the last of the summer weddings up on the real weddings page of the website. Today’s is a goodie! It’s Lauren and Paul photographed by the lovely Clare Kinchin (who incidentally is also our exclusive elopement photographer so if you want to see even more of Clare’s work here, pop over to our real elopements page)
Lauren and Paul live locally in Plymouth and wanted to reflect Paul’s Scottish heritage and his job as a submariner. Lauren had a dream dress in mind and together they made an uber stylish pair. I thought I would take the opportunity to share more of their photos with you as they’re so gorgeous and I know our readers love to see our real weddings photos.
Clare always take fab getting ready photos, getting all the details of the dress, bridesmaids’ dresses, final photos before the ceremony so here’s a selection of those by Clare – how cute is Lauren and Paul’s baby daughter’s flower girl dress next to her Mum’s..?
And this gorgeous one of Lauren just before walking down to the wedding barn to marry her man…
The ceremony is one of the most emotional moments of the day (of course!) and these capture some of those moments from Lauren catching her breath during her vows, to Paul holding their little daughter and it’s just the three of them in the moment, the rings being handed over on Paul’s uniform cap, to signing the Register, it’s all there and you need a great photographer to get all those precious moments as they’re over so quickly.
During the drinks reception whilst their guests were enjoying a glass of fizz, Lauren and Paul went with Clare to get these amazing couple shots. I’ve said it before (here) but it bears saying again, do make time for couple shots, you won’t regret it, Lauren and Paul will be able to treasure these for the rest of their lives… There are so many places here at the venue for great shots, you’ll have plenty of choice. This one was taken on the path from the ponds to the wedding barn:
Then Clare took Lauren and Paul down the drive and onto the bridge over the river:
Some shots at the end of the drive and in the woods:
and then back to the old barn for some more shots including some of the out-takes…
I’ll be looking in more detail at some of our 2016 weddings over the next weeks and months to bring you some never before seen photos so do keep in touch with the blog…
