You might skip the flowers altogether for the wedding breakfast, and just stick to table numbers. You don’t want to go for anything huge on the tables. By the time glasses, cutlery, plates, wine, etc, are all on the table, there’s not always vast amounts of room. But something small (and perfectly formed) might be all you need. Mostly, centrepiece flowers tend to be small/similar versions of the bridal bouquets. It’s consistent, and consistency is key…

If you’ve got a long top table, or all your tables are long, then a garland of some description might be worth considering. They usually sit along the front of the top table, or run down the middle if you’ve got people seated on either side. Either way, they’re a simple addition which can transform the look of the table. Again, they don’t need to be big ol’ things, and actually they don’t need a whole load of flowers in them either. Sometimes we get 100% foliage garlands, and they look just as fabulous.
