elopement wedding cake inspiration; little & delicious
Wedding cakes are a big focus for any wedding, and there’s no reason for you to miss out on that if you’re having an elopement wedding! Just because it’s small, it doesn’t make it any less important (trust me on this one, I’m 5ft3…). Where to start…? Luckily, our elopement wedding chef, Harrie, has got you covered (and your cake!).
Harrie is responsible for all of our elopement wedding cakes and she is fab. Working together with our elopement florist, Amanda, she creates beautiful miniature masterpieces in cake form which are in-keeping with your overall elopement wedding style.
the naked cake
The oh-so popular wedding cake trend has been shrunk into an elopement wedding cake trend and they are so cute!
Just when you thought naked cakes couldn’t get any better, then you see a chocolate naked cake! (insert love-eyed emoji)
Feel free to add your own finishing touch to your elopement wedding cake with personalised decor items…
… and maybe even some golden dinosaurs! (Why not, eh?).
iced-gems
Not a fan of the naked cake? There’s always the option of an iced cake!
You can’t beat a delicious vanilla buttercream…
Or maybe you’re a fondant icing fan?
And we love an elopement wedding cake with a splash of colour…
miniature traditions
Just because your cake is small, that doesn’t mean it can’t be traditional! Of course you have the option of adding another layer to your cake. Check these out…
Y-U-M-M-Y!
double-trouble
Two layers are great, especially if you want two different flavours. BUT, some of our elopement couples take it to the next level and Harrie creates not one, but two miniature elopement wedding cakes! Genius? You betcha!
Cute!!
finally…
And last, but not least (had to throw in the cliché, sorry…) an elopement wedding cheesecake!
