I love the weeks in the season when all the official wedding photos start rolling in, it’s a chance to re-live the wedding and see all those moments I missed in person – it’s one of my favourite bits of running this business!
Johanna and Andy got married here in a mid-week wedding at the beginning of June. These shots of the moments leading up to the wedding ceremony in the barn are some of my favourites, Johanna coming out of the honeymoon cottage with her father before entering the barn, Andy looking nervous as he waits for his bride to arrive, Johanna’s billowing veil as she walks down the path, the look of love on Andy’s face as he looks at his bride – all perfectly captured by David of David Stubbs Photography.
Johanna and Andy had a wooden arch as the ceremony back drop beautifully decorated by florist Deborah of Dartmoor Flowers with roses and peonies in peach, blush and coral. Johanna’s classic bridal up do was created by Jodie of Tavistock Hair Lounge and wedding make up was by Gem Ryder.
After the wedding ceremony, Johanna and Andy led their guests onto the lawn for drinks and canapes whilst Johanna and Andy walked to the other end of the lawn for some fab photos…
…including some fun on the giant deck chair..!
Johanna’s cake was made by her Mum (I know, how talented!) and decorated with flowers to match the colours of Johanna’s bouquet.
