Kay & Andrew had their winter elopement wedding here last month in December. Amanda Randell created a bouquet to Kay’s specification with accents of red, purple and blue and a request for definitely no roses!
Kay wore a tea length nude/blush dress accessorised with dark blue shoes which Kay had decorated with red flowers. The red was also picked up by Amanda in the bouquet ribbon.
Groom Andrew was caught by Clare pacing up and down as he waited nervously for his bride.
The couple then had a sweet first look on the steps of the honeymoon cottage before walking in together for their wedding ceremony in front of their 8 guests.
Guests had been treated on arrival to warmed mulled wine in the wedding barn before they strolled down to the terrace for an intimate wedding ceremony in front of the fire. After champagne and canapes Kay & Andrew had laid on a gin bar, bottled beer on ice and plenty of wine displayed on our vintage hand cart and our mirrored drinks trolley.
After drinks and canapes guests were seated in front of the fire for a sumptuous wedding breakfast of festive bird terrine, pickled cranberry puree and sage buttered sourdough for starters followed by braised ox cheeck with creamed potatoes and roasted roots finished off with a mini dessert platter all prepared by our private chef Harrie who also created their gorgeous wedding cake.
Kay brought along pine cones she had collected and sprayed silver which we placed around the wedding barn. We provided a Christmas tree in the wedding barn and another on the terrace in front of the fire, all the fairy lights and the lanterns and tea lights for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. We also created other decorations in the wedding barn and around the terrace to go with Kay and Andrew’s colours of silver and navy.
