(Edited to add this October 2023 date has now been booked.)
Thoughts of October
I know we’re in the grip of a wet English summer right now but we’re looking ahead to October which is really only weeks away – I know right?
If you book your wedding with us, we’ll always try to be super flexible with the date. That means if you need to change it for some reason, we’ll always try to get you a new date and then move your deposit over to the new date. You have to notify the Registrars, we can’t do that for you and you’ll probably need to pay a new reservation fee of £50 to change your date with them but we don’t make a charge for changing your date.
Ok that’s the PSA done. Now onto a new date we’ve got. Strictly it’s not a cancellation because the couple that booked this date have moved their wedding to October next year for personal reasons. They emailed and told me about their sitch and I confirmed no problem, let’s get you another date. They changed the date with the Registrars, confirmed with me and I notified all our lovely elopement suppliers.
New October 2023 date available
Which (eventually) brings me to the point of this blog – we’ve got a new available October 2023 date. And it’s Tuesday 24th October 2023.
Have you ever thought about eloping in October? If you’d like to know what October elopements here look like, I can tell you. We’ve hosted (because I just checked) over 40 elopements in Octobers over the years. And I’ve made it super easy for you to check out all our October elopement pics – they’re here.

October backdrop
Of course lots of couples choose classic autumnal colours for October – we’ve had a ton of beautiful orange and darker tones. Check out these from Lorelei & Liam’s October wedding in 2021
Or these from Jessica & Hannah’s wedding the same year
If you can tear your eyes away from the super beautiful dresses above you’ll see their whole wedding sings autumn doesn’t it?
Other autumn shades
But classic autumn shades aren’t obligatory. Check out the pastel blues and whites from Charlie & Andy’s elopement in October last year.
You’re still get those autumn vibes with a totally different colour palette because of the back drop of autumn. The pale blue tones hint to a drop in temperature which is perfect for an autumn elopement.
All the colours
Louise & Sam got married with us in October last year and their requested colours were ‘all the colours’ which automatically brings in hints of autumn because of the seasonal selection of flowers available at that time.
So have I whetted your appetite for an autumn wedding? There’s plenty of time to arrange an elopement for October this year – there’s over 12 weeks to go and we can definitely do you a totally gorgeous elopement in that time. If you’re thinking about it, drop me an email and let’s get you booked in. You know the one [email protected]
