We’re hiring!
I’m really excited to announce Ever After is hiring! Yay! We’re looking for a new part time on-the-day (OTD) wedding co-ordinator to join the Ever After team. And it’s happening SOON. (Start date : as soon as possible)
The lovely Martine who’s been with us for nearly 10 years now has got a new full time job. We wish Martine all the very best for her new job.
So back to what we’re looking for. This is a wedding co-ordinator’s position, reporting directly to me on elopement wedding days. That means you’re front of house on the day of the wedding.
As wedding co-ordinator, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks but basically making sure the wedding runs smoothly on the day. When we say wedding, we mean elopement weddings only. We only offer elopement weddings now so in the winter that’s a maximum of 8 people and in the warmer months a maximum of 12 people. Sometimes it’ll be just the couple getting married, no guests at all.
I’m on hand for each wedding. I’ll be helping you set up and co-ordinate the ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast – there’s a lot to do! I take a back seat after the wedding breakfast is served and you’re in charge to help the couple and their guests until you leave at 3pm.
You’ll get a printed wedding sheet for each wedding to let you know exactly what’s happening on the day. Who’s getting married, what the timings are, who the suppliers are, the detailed styling (yep I’ve already picked out the table linen, napkins, runners etc) so you’ve got everything you need.
You don’t need previous wedding experience for this job and you don’t need hospitality experience – full training will be given. What we’re looking for is an organised people-person with an eye for style and detail. Is that you or someone you know?
