Romeo’s Gin is this months star bottle. What’s better than trying a new gin when the sun decides to show its beautiful face?
Romeo’s Gin
Firstly let’s talk about the bottle this unusual artwork is striking at first sight. There is more than one design to collect which is quite endearing for the ol’ gin collector’s out there!
Tasting Notes
Romeo’s Gin paired with The Artisan – Violet Blossom Tonic matches beautifully.
If you have ever tried violet gin, I can promise you, it is NOTHING like that. I was worried when I was the violet tonic and thought I was going to be gargling a mouthful of Parma violets.
Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by a very subtle floral taste that I would more than happily drink again. The gin itself is infused with juniper, cucumber, dill, lavender, almond & lemon.
The smell without a doubt points your nose towards cucumber and with every sip the aftertaste is followed by the same cucumber notes. Smooth & beautiful.
If I had to sum up this gin cocktail I’d say it is, floral, elegant & summery.
And scoring on Rosie’s ratings, Romeo’s Gin hits a high score of 9/10!
Craft gin club cocktail suggestion – Masterpiece
If the name hasn’t already given it away, then I can vouch that this summery cocktail truly is a masterpiece. I wouldn’t usually judge the cocktails in Rosie’s Ratings because who doesn’t love a good cocktail… but this drinks hands down gets a 10/10 from me! If you are an elderflower & rose fan this is the cocktail for you!
